ABOUT ME
Hi. My name is Jack (if it wasn't already obvious). I study English and Creative Writing at Lancaster University, so I live in Lancaster during term time and London during the holidays.
PHILOSOPHY
Just to generally be nice to people I guess. Most people, after all, are pretty cool.

It's hard to pick favourite books, but some of my favourite authors are James Joyce, Flann O'Brien, Tao Lin, Iain Banks, JG Ballard, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Terry Pratchett, Umberto Eco, and Anton Chekhov... I also like poetry too, from the obvious names like T.S. Eliot, Yeats and Coleridge to less known people like George Macbeth and Alice Oswald
Movies that I like include Brazil, Blade Runner, any Studio Ghibli film, Donnie Darko, Adaptation, The Raid, the Monty Python films, The Wicker Man, Paprika, Koyaanisqatsi, and, naturally, The Room
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Played drums at the Royal Festival Hall, one of the biggest venues in London. Was a brilliant experience and inspired me to get much more into listening to and playing music.
