On the road again! On our south east Asia leg of our travels. We hope to find some meaningful experiences again, and get our hands dirty in some projects. Only short amount of time in each place for this round so hope to make some connections through couch surfing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are on the road again, so swapping from hosting to surfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted, surfed, hosted. We have met some amazing people through couch surfing. Like Kelly in Jamaica who took us to the Blue Mountains to hike and drink coffee. And Alex and Mariilese who made us feel at home in Fremantle. We returned to some hosts multiple times, and we had surfers return to us multiple times. Have kept in touch with many couch surfers, and made life-long friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

Infinite list here! I appreciate just about any singer/songer writer music, international tunes, world beats, and anyone having a go at learning.
I enjoy indie films and foreign flicks. Mostly things with subtitles that nobody else ever wants to watch with me! I'll read any good book suggested to me. John Irving is a favorite author and The Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy is a brilliant series. Love modern fiction as well as most non-fiction addressing present day issues for the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked in the Amazon Jungle, went diving through a shipwreck in the Philippines, worked at a homeless shelter in Jamaica....on and on and on.

Teach, Learn, Share

Constantly learning from every experience. Recently traveled and did heaps of volunteer work on organic farms, eco villages, natural health places, and with happy people. Love to share knowledge of sustainable travel and how good veg-o food can be!
