ABOUT ME

I love meeting new people, talking and sharing ideas. I have worked for a charities and currently help the public shape the future of health research, working for a University and studying for a PhD.

I write and play music in my spare time and have just finished an album of cello and piano music I hope to release soon. You can hear my music here at jacknunn.com

I am the founder and Dirrector of the not-for-profit organisation 'Science for All'
(scienceforall.world) and we run events like 'Campfires and Science'

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been on this site since the day I heard of it back in 2009. It's everything the internet should be for, which is helping awesome people connect, reminding us the world is mostly made up of lovely people who want to meet other awesome people.

I've had AMAZING experiences thanks to this site and made life-long friends. I hope to do so for the rest of my life!

Interests

I write and play music, I love travelling and like to go fishing when possible. I also love diving when I can.

I read lots and occasionally write myself.

I also love meeting people, learning about them and most importantly - letting them show me their favourite food!

I also have a back ground in community work and education, in particular public involvement in research.

I am working on a PhD looking at how the public can be involved in genomics research.
