ABOUT ME

I am living with my parents and one sister. We are a very close family but I am thinking of moving out soon with my cousin.

I really like people. Tennis coaching is my main job and I find it really enjoyable. I like to play and watch tennis also.

I enjoy reading and movies and have fairly ecletic taste.

I am currently mildly obsessed with learning the Spanish language. This involves learning a lot of the culture of the hispanic world also. I was in South America for seven months last year. I stayed with a Peruvian family for a few months and am now really close to them. Siempre busco alguien que pueda practicar castellano conmigo.

I have a tiny dog called Bruno who is getting old now.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a fairly uncertain person. I would like to think that I am tolerant and liberal. The stark inequality, poverty and greed in the world hurts me but I don't see any easy answers. For me it seems easiest to approach things on a community/ network level.

Music, Movies, and Books

Where to begin? I recently saw Amores Perros and really enjoyed that. I love Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Easy Rider.

As for music I love stuff from the 60s and 70s - The Beatles, Jethro Tull, Neil Young, Bob Dylan. I like Kris Kristofferson a lot.

As for books I read Shantaram recently and that was a rollicking read. Darkness at Noon, Crime and Punishment and Discipline and PUnish were all impressionable for me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My trip through South America was amazing. I loved living for 3.5 months in Trujillo in Peru and getting to know people from another culture. I much prefer that people side of things to sight seeing.
