CURRENT MISSION

wrap up my travel's in Europe with some great cities and head back to my motorbike

ABOUT ME

I finished school, I did some carpentry, some painting, drawing, waiting tables, walking. I try to learn something from every place I go, every workshop I look through, and maybe help out in, gives me a little bit better perspective. Every cook, every poet, film enthusiast teaches me a little bit and I in turn hope to teach others too. I get distracted from day to day tasks by flights of fancy but I've found that I stick to long term goals fairly well. I start up new hobbies pretty often, what I look at as the broad range of artistic pursuits but I try to not take them too seriously. I eventually need to find some middle ground to focus my attentions but I really dont like this idea. Right now I am living a life of complete exploration freedom wheer I can write or sing or learn to play guitar or draw a comic. Consequently I end up doing very little of each but I feel pretty satisfied; its as if they are not separate occupations but one big silly picture of my life. I hope to keep this sense of freedom when I get back to working a job. And thats all about me.

PHILOSOPHY

Do do do. and embrace the life you have and that you can make. I think sorrow shares the same part of the heart as regret. Some people reach a point in their lives when they might know or think that they may be house ridden, or that they will never ever be able to kiss 'those' lips again, or that they will never see europe again. If I imagine thinking that I would never be able to walk outside again; that would take me to a place of such sorrow and think of all the things I never did when I could simply walk outside. Regret is a terrible thing and I don't know about living without regret that's kind of how we learn. But not to dwell on it and to have hope instead of sorrow, to go outside and breathe, to kiss those lips a different way every time, to travel even when you think you can't.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate by spreading the word. Hosting would be great but I've not been to a poitn in my life where i can really. I live my life on the same principles of CS.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My brother and I went on a road trip and while in Tulsa we stayed with a nice fellow who worked at Tulsa University. My girlfriend and I stayed with a really nice couple in New York for 3 nights. It was the best way to experience the city.

兴趣

I like to climb trees and sometimes buildings. Painting and sketching--especially collecting portraits in my travels. I like languages but have found that my Romanian was a lot worse than I thought. I am in a period of Romanian experience and just trying to learn and store as much as I can. If I can note my inspirations before I get distracted then thats good. I am interested in people who have motivation and who just do things-who realize their ambitions, and who don't get put off by the work involved and rather embrace it. I like seeing what people toil for after they get home from their jobs.

I have started writing little songs and my friend lent me a guitar here so it'd be great to learn something not from a book. Or anything
I can teach you how to build something you always wanted to build not from a book, how to fix something thats not an Ipod (or someother such gadget) and how to fall gracefully when you are not sober or just clumsy
