Music, Movies, and Books

I've been consistently reading books since I learned how. Currently reading “Journal of a Solitude” by May Sarton. It’s quiet, sad, and beautiful. I'd love to hear about what you're reading.

My music preferences are all over the map. I’ve been on an extended R&B kick for a few years now, but I'm definitely a collector of new sounds, so tell me what's good to your ear.

I like to watch people’s favorite movies with them. I’ve recently been steering more towards older and stranger selections when I watch a movie by myself. A lot of my personal screen time recently has been devoted to tv shows. I’ve particularly been nursing a new interest in anime shows.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn more languages and deepen my relationship to the languages I already know. I can offer some cooking, baking, and fermenting skills I've picked up over time. I love to sing and share music. I’m an experienced teacher of various technical outdoor skills, in particular climbing, camping, backpacking, and paddling skills. I’m a burgeoning bike mechanic, so anything you have to offer me on that front I’ll eat right up, and if you have a basic problem with your bicycle, I might be able to take care of it for you. I have a basic understanding of woodworking, which I’d love to expand.
