Overview
About Me
I've never been one to plan too much. I've been told that I'm laid back, even for Australian standards. Making the most of opportunities and rolling with the punches comes naturally. I was brought up in a house of 6 children before attending a boarding school, so being surrounded by people and encountering unexpected experiences is all I've ever known, I've come to realise it's what I need.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Seems like the best way to travel - local knowledge / insight / experience, potential friends, roof over my head (maybe), and I'm sure some incredible experiences that wouldn't have happened if I didn't join.
Interests
I really just love to surf. Everything else that happens around that is a bonus.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Most things other than Heavy Metal and Screamo
Movies: Lord Of The Rings, The Lion King,
TV: Flight Of The Concords, Game Of Thrones
Books: Not really a reader. Just started 'Barbarian Days', slowly realising this reading thing isn't so bad.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once rode a bike from Townsville to Cairns (350 km or 220 miles) for charity. With my mum!
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I can teach you to surf (if you don't already know how) either in the water or over a beer if you don't have time. If that doesn't interest you then
Learn: Anything and everything. Any wisdom is welcome.
Share: I can cook dinner! I won't be awarded a Michelin Star any time soon but I've got a few recipes up my sleeve.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Australian Slang.
The way I see it, if you put a roof over my head then i'll go out of my way to share what i can and to not take your generosity for granted.
