Hello! My name is Jackson, I'm a photographer and adventure guide from North Vancouver, Canada. For much of my life I've been travelling and working my way around the world, either guiding, exploring, or just taking photos and gathering incredible life experiences along the way.

I joined couchsurfing with my family when I was 13 years old. Since 2015, I have met over 250 Couchsurfers from almost 40 different countries, all of whom have allowed me to gain new perspectives and experience their cultures in ways I could never have imagined.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here because I feel like travel is so much more than just seeing new places and checking items off a list, for me it's about making connections with people, finding unique experiences, and understanding different cultures. I love meeting new people and hearing their stories/perspectives, and Couchsurfing allows me to do that in a accessible and meaningful way... through this platform I've been connected with some of the kindest, most interesting, and generous people I've ever met, many of whom I'm still lucky enough to call friends.
