About Me
CURRENT MISSION
see every country on earth, and then space.
ABOUT ME
I am 25 years old, and have been traveling since I turned 18. I've lived in Melbourne most of my life, aside from 2 years in London, 6 months in Bonn, Germany, and 6 months in Berlin.. I love learning and meeting new people, and am happy going out all night or staying in and sharing stories with other travellers.
PHILOSOPHY
Enjoy every moment, be open and honest and try to make a positive difference.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I haven't participated yet, but look forward to meeting people in other cities and showing people around my own.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
none.
Interests
I absolutely love music, movies, reading and writing, and become bored when I'm not learning new things. I am also into politics, philosophy, history, volunteering, travelling(of course) and photography. One of the main things I love about travelling is meeting new people.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I love Indie/Alternative/Rock music. Too many bands to list them all, but my first loves were Powderfinger(Australian band), Nirvana and the Beatles. Also Pink Floyd, Dresden Dolls, The Stone Roses, Two Gallants, Darwin Deez, Jens Lekman, Jamie T, The Strokes, The Middle East and many many more.
Movies: I love anything weird, different and strange without being too pretentious(it's a pretty fine line). I've seen Donnie Darko and the Matrix so many times I could probably re-enact them. Also loved La Haine, Eternal Sunshine, anything by the Coen brothers, the Star Wars/Back to the Future trilogies.
Books: Anything that makes me think. I can spend hours reading and finish a good book in a few days. Recently I've loved the Foundation trilogy, The Passage, Midnight's Children, Call of Cthulhu and Neverwhere.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Canoeing to a remote beach in Costa Rica to meet an old woman who lived in a hut, by herself with no electricity. We ate coconuts and papaya fresh from the tree. The only way of contacting her was by conch shell!
Teach, Learn, Share
My brain is filled with thousands of useless facts about animals, music, books, cinema and the like, which can provide minutes of entertainment to those as easily-amused as myself. I also speak and study German, and am more than happy to have conversations or teach anyone the basics of the language. I play guitar, piano and saxophone, but not well so don't expect to learn anything too difficult. I would definitely be interested in learning about the language/religion/culture of any country I am visiting from people who have spent some time there.
