I'm a 25 year old New Zealander, currently living and studying in Victoria, BC. I'm working towards my Masters in Oceanography, and love travelling and exploring - hence why I'm over here in Canada to study! I'm pretty laid back, and love getting out and exploring the wonderful backyard we have on offer here in BC.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to using couch surfing, and currently live in a share house in Victoria so can't host people, but I'm looking forward to meeting lots of people through couch surfing while I travel, and hope to repay the favour when I have my own place one day.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a month doing fieldwork on a ship in the Arctic Ocean in the summer of 2015, and got to see polar bears, the Northern Lights and sea ice - a pretty rad experience!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to think I'm pretty easy to get along with and open to most things - if you want to show me around, then I'd love to get an insiders opinion on the place! If you want to leave me on my own, that's cool - one of my favourite things is wandering around and exploring new places. I like to cook but I'm not great at it.. so if you want to share meals and conversations I'm always up for that! Equally, if you're busy, I completely understand that and can quite happily occupy myself.
