Hey, Jackson here, I live in Brisbane, Australia and I'm working as a Development Manager for a local property developer. I used to live in the U.S when I was an exchange student so I'm always keen to know more peeps around the world.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I first heard about couch surfing from one of my ex-colleagues when I was working at the local high school while studying at Uni. He's French and had quite a bit of couch surfing experience while traveling alone in South Asia. I reckon it's a great idea to meet the locals while saving a bit expenses while traveling. That's why I decided to be part of the couch surfing family.

I was hosted when I visited Osaka, Japan in Oct 2018 and Chiharu (a very nice and kind Japanese girl) hosted me at her cozy place and went traveling with me to Nara while I was staying with her. It was great fun and it's a totally different experience when you could stay with the locals and travel together with them. I later hosted Chiharu when she visited Australia in late 2018. I believe it's a very rewarding and unique experience when you can meet and know new people via couch surfing, and eventually becoming friends with them.

I spent two and a half days on the train from Chicago to LA, it was an absolutely amazing experience!

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I recently got my own place so there is a spare bedroom (with a brand new double bed) that you could stay. Please feel free to ask if I can host cuz it really depends on my availability but I will try my best to reply asap.

I live on the south side of Brisbane, and there are buses that go straight to the Brisbane CBD. The bus stop is only 2-3 mins walk away from my place.
