About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel and learn as I travel through Seville and into Morocco!

ABOUT ME

I love music, reading and good conversation. I have just spent 3 years working with a human rights NGO in the UK - and now I'm taking a break and going travelling on my own for a bit.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I spent a year up to June 2015 travelling around the world, but I only started Couchsurfing once I'd reached India, at the end of my trip. I'd like to thank Suresh, Nitin, Rajesh, Mayur and Sanjay for hosting me in that time! I wish I had started Couchsurfing earlier in my trip. Since then, I have couchsurfed in Colombia and Tanzania.

Interests

I like playing guitar, playing and watching football (Crystal Palace are my team, unfortunately...), and good food. I love a good book.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many to name, but here are a few...

Films: Everything Everywhere All at Once is the best film I've seen this year. I can always watch The Big Lebowski. Love anything by David Lynch.

Music: Bob Dylan, Aphex Twin, Tom Waits, Can, Neu!, Fela Kuti, Alice Coltrane... Rock n roll, folk, Thai molam, jazz, soul, dub, etc. I love "world music" - although I think all music is world music...

Books: Anything by George Orwell, David Foster Wallace, Kurt Vonnegut, Ernest Hemmingway, or the classic Russians. Reading non-fiction more often at the moment

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to the Amazon jungle in Bolivia and Peru - really awe-inspiring.

Teach, Learn, Share

Really what I'm looking for from Couchsurfing is an insight into the local way of life - something you just can't get from hostels.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can show you a few chords on guitar...
