Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been on CS since 2007. Had a few hosts and have been to a few couches. It all started in Queenstown, New Zealand when I came across some travelers saying they were paying for accommodation! I am now living in Florianopolis, and found out this is another world wanted spot for foreigners! :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a few experiences of couchsurfing but I didn't even know it was called couchsurfing... hahaha... You make new friends, they invite you to stay over and you end up sleeping on the couch... That's it. :D

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of movies. I used to watch 7 movies a week with my flatmate. I'm a real movie buff.

Books are in the self-development field. It's what I do for a living.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Can I list a few? When I was 15 I decided to study music and have some guitar lessons. When I was 20 I quit smoking. When I was 21 I chose advertising to be my profession. When I was 24 I could see my life was amazing and when I was 25 I graduated and went for an old dream: living abroad. When I was 30, I changed the whole thing and started a new profession.

Teach, Learn, Share

I used to be a guitar teacher. I play nylon (classic) guitar. I like traditional brazilian songs, such as the famous bossa nova style. If you bring your guitar we can jam over some drinks :)

I work as a life and executive coach. My main occupation is giving lectures and some workshops in areas of self-development. I teach communication skills and presentation postures.
