I love traveling, because I love traveling. ;-)
Also love to eat, sleep, be in a different city/on an island/train/bus/temple. And meet lots of gorgeous people on the way. I have traveled quite a bit, mostly to Eastern Europe, Spain and Asia. And I plan to do a lot more. Since recently I own a couch in Amsterdam that has been tested extensively by friends and family and has been found more than sufficient, I now offer it to other peoples friends ;-).

I love to have guests around, but alas cannot host everyone, so here are some tips if my couch was taken:
On public transport:

You can buy 1 to 7 day cards, but if you wanna move like a real Amsterdammer, hire a Bike of course. Watch out for lost tourists walkin in the middle of the streets though ;-)!

Escape&get away
*NDSM:
a great way to be near the city.. but outside :-). Take a free ferry from the central station, and hop to http://www.ndsm.nl/. They have some festivals in summer and a Huge Fleemarket (https://ijhallen.nl/en/

*Haarlem/Bloemendaal/Woodstock:
if you wanna escape the madness and chill on a beach for a bit, a visit to Woodstock (http://woodstock69.nl/en/) is perfect. Combine it with a visit to Haarlem, for an experience of another gorgeous and friendly(er) Dutch city.
