ABOUT ME

I hate open-ended questions but I love asking other people questions. I can be pretty quiet but I'm told that I am funny when I do speak. I love all modes of transportation especially those that take long. I also enjoy spending money on people (when I have the money, which isn't too often these days).

PHILOSOPHY

I want to experience every experience that is possible in the world, even the bad things. I believe that you can learn from everything and grow, which can never be a negative thing. I am open to everything and am not picky at all, not even about food (even though I'm vegetarian). Sometimes I'm difficult because I don't have any preferences regarding certain things but trust me when I say that anything will make me happy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not yet couchsurfed; I would love to but I'm not sure when the next time I am travelling will be. I would offer up my couch but I currently live with 5 other girls so it's a bit difficult to get them all to agree; plus our place is pretty messy & crowded.

Interests

I really enjoy making things, especially for other people. I enjoy painting & drawing as a therapeutic and relaxing activity. I particularly like to draw people. Right now I am trying to improve my sewing skills and so have gotten a seamstress job at a local tuxedo shop. Reading is always fun but I don't have much time so I usually do it when I'm riding the bus to school or work. I love the outdoors and have been a camp counselor for the past 2 summers.

Music, Movies, and Books

Types of music I enjoy: electronic, alternative rock, classic rock, hip hop, r&b, rap, pop... basically you can find almost all types of music in my library

Books: my favorites are Phantom Tollbooth, Crime & Punishment, A Clockwork Orange. I'm currently reading more informative books such as ones about fashion history rather than novels.

Plays: M. Butterfly, Eurydice

Movies: I enjoy all types of movies. The scary ones not as much but I can deal.
