Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have stayed on many a couch on my recent adventure. When I finally have an address, I will offer my couch.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A friend and I stayed with a lovely girl in Stockholm. She shared her music and talked about the politics in our home countries. We drank wine together, and sometimes stumbled out to a club. I am (right now) staying with a guy in Osp, Slovenia. He grows his own fruit and olives. The countryside is beautiful.

Interests

Vintage markets, reading, cheesy films, cheesy tv, cheesy music, eBay, sunshine, politics, feminism, food, galleries, dancing, hula hoops, 60s furniture perhaps even 50s.

Music, Movies, and Books

Yoko Ono, Deerhoof, Cat Stevens, Blur, Top Gun Soundtrack...some quiet time music such as Do Make Say Think, Explosions in the Sky or Tortoise. No particular genre of book, but I love 70's stories about rich, famous or wild women. I read serious books too and sometimes feminist theory books. Filmwise, 60's arthouse, dance films (Footloose) or cheesy coming of age films/films about high school kids. I like to watch a whole tv series in one sitting.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to absorb all the knowledge I can so any little fact about any little thing is water. I hope that I can impart some knowledge too. I like to share food with others.
