ABOUT ME

I'm a 29 year old Canadian girl who moved to Phoenix in April. The temperature is vastly different to say the least, but I love it! Even though I'm now in the US I still love maple syrup, call mac and cheese 'kraft dinner', and I do say 'eh' a lot!

I've done a lot of independent travel, have met some amazing people and had some crazy and remarkable experiences. I'd like to give back what was so freely given to me :)

I like most people, and people seem to like me as well. I like all different kinds of food, and love cooking. Phoenix has the best frozen yogurt bars, by the way. I love chocolate, especially if it's filled with something sickeningly sweet like whatever the heck is inside a Cadbury cream egg, and nutella mmm is sooo good. Oh and Ferrero rochers. And those Lindt chocolate truffles you get with the Swiss Chalet festive special (only the Canadians will understand that one)...

I like yoga (finally accomplished the side crow!), tennis, step aerobics...I have a little kitty called Bessie, she's adorable and will probably be scared of you so unless your deathly allergic you won't know she's here. In fact she's sleeping on the floor beside me right now. What a cutie pie. I want to eat her!!!!! Or squeeze her. Gah.

I'm rambling so I'm going to stop! I have a tendency to ramble....(it gets more interesting after a few glasses of wine I promise :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

the floating school in the Mekong Delta...the grand bazaar in Istanbul...Italy the day they won the world cup...Svartifoss waterfall in Iceland...watching the sun set and rise in Clarke Quay in Singapore...or maybe the Ladymen in Thailand, Iguasu, maybe Bariloche in fall...or an active volcano in Chile, the saltflats in Bolivia or maybe the Galapagos? The souks in Morocco are also pretty sweet, not to mention trying to find your hostel! I can't pick one. Sorry!
