ABOUT ME

I have been traveling around the US of A for a year now. very little planning goes into this, it all kind of happens like a chain reaction. I'm happy this way, moving around a lot.
I work odd jobs and work trade and I even had an hourly job with a boss and everything but it was also odd and i got fired.
I cook beans from scratch and bake bread by hand and eat cabbage and potatoes and peanut butter and always oat meal.
I sew my own clothes and I'll mend yours too as a thankyou if you let me stay on your couch.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm good at being alone, that doesn't effect my ability to be a fine guest, because I really do enjoy being around folks too. And sometimes i'm very skilled at socializing.
I do my best to be a good guest by contributing to the function of wherever I am staying (cleaning dishes, cooking, bread making, tinkering, cat-petting, co-adventuring, dumpster shopping, wall drawing).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

so far, I've only slept on my friends couches. I used to live at a coop (sadly no longer in existence) and we had plenty of couch surfers. I loved it. I had dropped out of school at that point and so i'd spend a good deal of time with all the fine folks passing through.

Interests

kites, cats, rusty cars, sailing boats, accidental style, sound, live music and making it, movie watching, making food, eating food, photos of people and things 1850-1950, post-apocalyptic planning, mr. Rogers, theater,drawing, sewing, skutzing, biking, walking, shooting cans, sentient machines, sci-fi in the current world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

the other day I saw a dove chasing a crow.
I've caught a lot of humming birds that were brought into my house, I've held them in my hands and seen their little eye lashes.
I never use a recipe for bread or cake. sometimes it tastes real good.
I can hold my breath for 1 min 14 sec
I can sing a note on a single breath for 1 min 2 sec
I can exhale and not take a breath for 55 sec
after doing all this in a row, I began to feel dizzy and weird but did not have an extra holy vision.
