I'm a masters student at Leiden University, from the West Coast of the US. I love photography, especially night photography, along with hiking, diving, etc.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people while travelling, and especially since I solo travel quite a bit, its nice to have some company.

Interests

I am really interested in astro, night, and city photography, its my creative outlet. I also loving being in the outdoors, hiking and backpacking, especially when in mountains where I can have the Milky Way arcing above me at night.

Stephen Baxter's Manifold: Space, Manifold: Time, and Manifold: Origins books are probably my favorite.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Used photography to create 3-d models of the moai statues on Easter Island for research.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to teach people how to do astrophotography and cameras in general, as well as anything to do with astronomy or physics.
I would be very interested in learning about local culture, new outdoor sports, or pretty much anything else.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share a love of photography, telescopes, astronomy, and science in general, while always being up for an adventure. I can also cook a little bit, although mostly pretty basic meals.
