Overview
About Me
My name is Jacob, I'm a student at the University of Cambridge learning Spanish and German. My girlfriend and I have travelled extensively in Europe and love meeting new people and exploring new cities. I've also travelled and volunteered with social and environmental charities in Ecuador, Colombia and Peru, and will be spending a year in Peru next year working for a sustainability NGO. Looking forward to meeting you!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm backpacking with my girlfriend this August, and heard about Couchsurfing from a friend. It sounds like a fantastic way of meeting great people in a foreign city, establishing new friendships, and saving money at the same time. I'm very keen not simply to visit each city just to see the sights and attractions, but to find a way of really experiencing and exploring the true culture and the real life of each place.
Interests
I'm a guitarist and singer, and love jamming with people. Sport is also a very important part of my life, and I run and play football, volleyball and tennis.
