Hola! Soy Jacob de ingleterra, donde lavoro en un "pub" (como un bar) en Yorkshire. En mi tiempos libros ecrsibo canciones con mi guitarra y me gusta caminar en los arbols cerca de mi pueblo. Me encanta encontrar personas nuevas y appreder más sobre culturas differentes con musica, comida, poesía y idiomas.

No conosco españa muy bueno (he visitado barcelona cuando era un niño) pero hablo un poco de español despues viajando en chile con workaway y couchsurfing un año pasado.

Hello! I'm Jacob from england where I work in a "traditional community pub" in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire. In my spare time I write songs on the guitar and enjoy going for long walks in the woods and moors around the town. I love meeting new people and learning about different cultures through music, food, literature and language.

I don't know spain very well (having visited last when I was a child) but I speak some spanish after couchsurfing in chile last year.

About my personality: People who know me describe me as an empathetic and respectful person, I have a strong desire to understand the world and the people that fill it especially if I find myself disagreeing with them: I believe in trying to find at least some common ground with others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Conozco a muchas couchsurfers desde que empiezo hacer "workaway" en Italia y ahora necesito hacerlo! Me gusta explorar el mundo y aprender sobre culturas.

I met many couchsurfers when I was doing workaway in Italy and it seemed such a lovely community. I'd love to travel and learn as much as I can about different cultures

Interests

Yo he Tocado la guitarra desde que he tenido 15 años, yo fui en una banda de rock a la universidad pero ahora mayormente escribo música para guitarra acoústica. También, me encanta la escalada, hacer senderismo y explorar cuevas(espeleología?).

I have been playing the guitar since I was 15 and was in a rock band at university but now I mostly write songs on the acoustic guitar. I also enjoy lots of outdoor sports like hiking, climbing and recently caving!

Desde que estoy pequeño, escucho rock clasico, art rock, indie rock ... ok todo el rock... También me gusta música folklórica como Belle and Sebastian, Nick Drake y Los Jaivas!

Me encantan muchas films pero mis favoritos son: ladybird, the lord of the rings y trainspotting.

Necesito leer más pero me gusta Neil Gaiman.

I grew up listening to classic rock(the Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, pink Floyd ...), got into jazz as a teenager(Miles Davis, Joe pass, Herbie Hancock...), now I try to listen to as much as possible (recently have been listening to Nick Drake a lot)

Love watching all kinds of films, and always keen for suggestions, if I had to pick some favourites they'd be ladybird, lord of the rings and trainspotting but what I like is always changing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

En julio y agosto de 2024 voy a Austria para explorar cuevas nuevas y muy muy profundos!

I went on a caving expedition to Austria, there I helped discover and map new cave that nobody has ever been to before.

Me encanta compartir películas, música y comida de nuestras culturas. Estoy siempre entusiasta aprender instrumentos nuevo y compartir como yo toco la guitarra/el piano! Claro, estoy aprendiendo español así que me gustaría intentar hablarlo más, pero estoy feliz para ayudar tu práctica tú inglés también.
