About Me

I recently graduated from Indiana University (May 2016) with the goal of going to medical school and becoming a physician. After traveling around Southeast Asia, I am going back to school in Kansas City to get a Masters in Biomedical Sciences.

I am adventurous, open minded, empathetic, and always seeking to meet new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling alone is awesome for the fact you can meet so many people, so what better way to meet amazing people than to couch surf!

Also, I like to become fully immersed in a culture, so I figured staying with someone who knows the culture inside and out would be a neat opportunity to learn their culture.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all types of music (except country and heavy heavy metal)... my all time favorite artist would have to be Dave Matthews Band!

Some recent artists that I've been a huge fan of is ODESZA, Two Door Cinema Club, Chance the Rapper, Kendrick Lamar, Florence and the Machine.... the list can go on forever.

Movies: I like the classic comedies such as Step Brothers and Super Bad, but I also like the older mob movies such as the Godfather and Scarface.

My favorite book from younger days is "Holes". Recently I haven't done as much reading as I'd like but one that I have read and enjoyed "Steve Jobs"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Motorbiked down Vietnam and through Cambodia

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to teach people about myself and the culture that I live in.

I would love to learn about my host (soon to be friend) and their culture.

I would love to share the moments that we both learn and teach from each other. I want to share a lifetime friendship with each individual I meet!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share many laughs and memorable times!

I love cooking so I can definitely help out in the kitchen and if your into yoga I can show you a couple new poses!

Countries I’ve Visited

Bahamas, Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Israel, Malaysia, Mexico, Peru, Taiwan, Thailand, Viet Nam
