My name is Jacob, I am 20 years old and I work with landscaping while I'm taking an off-year between my studies. In this off-year I am interested in travelling and seeing the world. I'm rather extrovert and I enjoy using my time with people, talking and listening to people's stories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing so I can gather a huge network around the world, rather than paying money to NOT get to know people. I'm a huge people person and I see the greatest in all people I meet. This combined with a natural trusting intuition made me choose couchsurfing as my primary means of accomodation.

Interests

I enjoy hiking, camping and generally being outdoors. Suffice to say, I also enjoy the pleasures that being indoors bring. Among my interests is also powerlifting, something I like to do because I can challenge myself, but it also serves the simple function of keeping me (somewhat) in shape.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music includes most modern hiphop & rap, however my taste in music spreads across all genres, and I always keep my mind and ears open when I listen to new or old music.

I mostly enjoy watching documentaries, but I can't deny watching a chick-flick every once in a while.

In regards to books, I'm not the reader that I'd like to be; however "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho was one of the most beautiful reading-experiences I've ever had.
