I was born and raised in Florida, but moved to Sweden for a year. I'm currently back living in Saint Petersburg, Florida again and making plans to travel. I love to meet new people and have new experiences. Thus I'm traveling to satisfy my lust for the unknown and learn from what I have yet to experience: people, places, cultures, music, etc.

I believe that one of the best things about traveling is meeting local people. Couch surfing creates a whole different experience that one couldn't get when staying at a hotel. The whole idea is super cool to me.

I'm young and, as a result, broke but where my financial situation lacks, my personality and readiness for anything makes up for it. The only way to truly see the world is through the eyes of a local and I think couchsurfing is an amazing concept that allows people to do that properly.

I love music, riding my bike (countryside or crowded city), playing lacrosse and other competitive sports, and talking with different kinds of people. There is so much to learn and only by going out there and meeting, chatting, and learning from those people will you ever truly gain some kind of perspective on other ways of thinking, different lifestyles, and cultures.

Musica, film e libri

Music is a tough one. I can appreciate all music for the artistic value but I love music that fits the situation I'm in, whether it be at a concert, party, beach, etc. Favorites are Sango, Kaytranada, Bonobo, Jens Lekman, Jack Johnson, Sublime, Drake, and Flume to name a few. My favorite movie has always been and will continue to be Pulp Fiction. Hands down. No questions asked. Currently I'm loving books like 'The Geography of Bliss' by Eric Weiner and 'The Four Agreements' by Don Miguel Ruiz.

I've done some incredible things so far in my life, which I am grateful for, but maybe when I'm old and grey I'll have one wholesomely amazing thing I've done that trumps the rest. I can teach you about Southern American culture. I have studied Swedish in Sweden which gave me incomparable insight into the Swedish culture and allowed me to speak Swedish with those who are from there. That amazing opportunity to converse and hear a native speak their mother tongue is something I can promise anyone who knows or is learning english.

I have lots of insight and even better stories from my time backpacking in Southeast Asia as well.
