About Me

I am a United States, California native with an artistic soul and an engineering mind. I worked as a programmer for several years and have lately been teaching programming to kids!

I am an exceptionally friendly, positive and athletic person. In my free time I am also a singer-songwriter, musician, and multi-instrumentalist, so I can share my love of music with you (singing, violin, piano, guitar...)

My latest artistic endeavors have included performing with an improv troupe, figure skating, and playing the violin. I really enjoy new artistic pursuits, especially when I can share them with those around me (cooking new dishes is my newest passion!)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love having conversations, especially with folks I meet while travelling. Much better than the television or pool of a hotel.

It is also wonderful to learn about other cultures, languages, favorite breakfasts, etc. (My favorite breakfast lately has been chocolate granola with blackberries, banana, and peanut butter)
