Overview
About Me
Just another Australian spending a year abroad, keen to see different European cultures.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to connect with other cultures, learn about different mentalities through my travels and couchsurfing is a great way to do this! Otherwise what's the point of seeing the world?
Interests
Photography and making prints in the darkroom. I am a music research student. I love going to gigs of all sorts.

Music, Movies, and Books
I adore Chet Baker, Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald.
Invisible Monters by Chuck Palaniuk, A Fraction of the Whole by Steve Toltz and The Old Man and the Sea by Hemingway.
I really liked Black Swan, Frances Ha and Midnight in Paris.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think Morocco is one of the most amazing countries I've been to. I spent a night in the desert and when our glasses of mint tea were finished the sun had set and the stars were brighter than anything I've ever seen in my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
It is a pleasure to share my culture which I didn't realise was so important until I left the country and learnt more about others! I like to help others learn english and french. I can also teach you to play piano or give you cafe and restaurant recommendations in Melbourne.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My relaxed and down-to-earth Australian attitude to life, a nice glass of wine or a coffee (my shout). My knowledge about 19th century music history.
