About Me

Hello, I'm a warm blooded and friendly traveller and artist. I want to write about the world and my travels, which means going out and seeing it. I have a had a few exhibitions of my work in Manchester, most notably being The Lowry Center in Salford. I want to volunteer in south east Asia, become engrossed by the culture. The hope is that during my stay I will find a line of work that will support me a little as I am deffinitly a budget traveller trying to see it all. Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia, Indoneisa.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couch surfer because travelling alone seems such a daunting task, being part of a community like this helps me feel safe. Meeting new people is the most important thing in my opinion and this seems as if it was designed just for me. I want to be able to take the next person and make them feel welcome and give them confidence to go out and see the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all sorts of music, I always ask taxi drivers to change the radio from the charts to classic FM because chart music is dribble.
I'm obsessed with films, I could go on for hours about the subtle nuances between directors and list 50 great films you haven't seen off the top of my head without breaking a sweat.
Books are the richest things. just got to the end of The Road by Jack Kerouac, it's so amazing I don't want to finish Incase Sal and Dean split up.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

If I had to choose one thing, it would be the children's book I wrote and illustrated at the age of 15, which I self published and released for sale on the Internet. This was such a personal triumph of dedication and love, helps me believe I can do anything.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've always wanted to be a teacher, just always believed that would be fun. I've found that each new person I meet gives me a unique angle on he world, and that is a sharing process, a back and forth and exchange.
This is something I believe in thoroughly and you have to value this sort of relationship to cherish from it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would like to believe I am a bubbly sort of guy, warm and I have a lot of passions I love to talk about. Apart from my personality, I have been training in the service industry for over two years now, I'm clean, polite, not aposed to chores or labour.
I am a passionate cook, which I hope comes in handy, one of my favourite things to do is share a bowl of home made Guacamole.

Countries I’ve Visited

Egypt, Greece, Ireland, Scotland
