关于我

I’m Jacob Kidini, a passionate organic farming practitioner and community builder dedicated to reconnecting people with Mother Nature.

My journey has been shaped by working with children’s rescue centres, youth groups, and local communities—helping transform small pieces of land into spaces of hope, learning, and nourishment. I believe the soil is more than just a place to grow food; it’s a place where dignity is restored, purpose is discovered, and communities come back to life.

Through this work, I’ve seen young people find direction, children develop pride in growing their own food, and communities begin to heal and thrive together. That experience has deeply shaped who I am—someone who values connection, sustainability, and shared growth.

I’m always eager to learn from others, exchange ideas, and experience different cultures. I believe that when people come together with open hearts, we can inspire each other and create a more balanced, meaningful way of living.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe the most meaningful connections happen when people share their lives, stories, and cultures openly.

Through my work in organic farming, I’ve seen how powerful human connection can be—how bringing people together can restore not just the land, but hope, purpose, and community. I want to experience that same spirit on a global level: meeting new people, learning different ways of life, and exchanging ideas that can inspire positive change.

Couchsurfing, for me, is not just about travel—it’s about building genuine relationships, sharing knowledge, and spreading the values I believe in: sustainability, community, and living in harmony with nature.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

As Jacob Kidini, one of the most meaningful things I have done is help reconnect people with Mother Nature through organic farming. By working alongside children’s rescue centres, youth groups, and diverse community organizations, I have witnessed something powerful—people rediscovering hope in the soil beneath their feet.

Together, we’ve transformed small pieces of land into living classrooms and sources of nourishment. Children who once felt disconnected now grow their food with pride. Young people who lacked direction are finding purpose, dignity, and opportunity in sustainable agriculture. Communities are not just farming—they are healing, learning, and rising.

This work goes beyond growing crops. It’s about restoring a relationship—with the earth, with each other, and with a future that feels possible again.

I love sharing stories, experiences from the field, and the impact of community-based work. I can also share hands-on farming skills, conversations about purpose and community, and a positive outlook on living in harmony with nature.

我可以与沙发主分享些什么

I bring more than just my presence—I bring purpose, energy, and meaningful exchange.

I can share hands-on knowledge in organic farming, from composting and soil health to simple kitchen gardening techniques that anyone can start, even in small spaces. If you’re interested, I’d be happy to help set up a small garden or share practical tips on growing healthy food naturally.

Beyond that, I share stories—real experiences from working with children’s rescue centres, youth groups, and communities reconnecting with nature. These journeys are filled with lessons on resilience, hope, and the power of coming together.

I also enjoy cultural exchange: conversations about life, values, and different ways of living. I can share Kenyan culture, perspectives on sustainability, and a deep appreciation for simple, meaningful living.

Most importantly, I share a positive spirit, respect for your space, and a genuine interest in connecting, learning, and contributing in whatever way I can.
