Overview
About Me
Heya, heya. I am new to this whole traveling and couch surfing thing. I've travelled to Mexico, and other parts of the US, but always with family and friends, and never on my own. For the past couple years, I've had severe wanderlust, and now I've finally made the leap. I balance along the edge of introversion and extroversion. I enjoy solitude as much as I enjoy company, but at my core, I am a slow-pace person. I take my time with things, and I hardly rush. I love to wander and find new things, whether in the city or out in nature. I am calm, quiet and observant, but I am not unapproachable. Meeting new people is hardly enough for me, I enjoy making new friends more than anything. Besides movies. I love movies...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because, because, because, because... I don't want to hide out in a lonely hotel room as I venture across Europe. I want to experience the different places I visit through the eyes of the people that live there. I want to meet new people, and gain new insight into the rest of my world. I don't want to just be a solitary tourist who gawks at the local land marks; I want to live a life on the road. I figure that the best way to do that, is through the general good nature of people who share my own love of people.
Interests
Movies! And reading. Coffee, coffee shops and coffee pastries. History, real History, and the people who make it. Beer, wine (sometimes), Bourbon, Tequila, Scotch and Beer. Running, volleyball, swimming, climbing and hiking. Delicious fried food, and unconventional recipes. Stationary. I love stationary. Punk, folk, blues and any musical distortion in between. Random adventures, being lazy in the sun. Writing in my journal, pretending that I know all the answer, and then playing my own devil's advocate. Candid photography. Surprise photography. I enjoy many things, but what I enjoy the most is finding new things to enjoy.

Teach, Learn, Share
"Wealth is a tool of freedom, but the pursuit of wealth is the way to slavery." - Frank Herbert
Who understands, and can teach quantum mechanics? I want to know the secrets of the universe!
If there is key lime pie nearby I will by you key lime pie. If there is not, then you shall have cupcakes.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Above all else, I can share an expert opinion on the proper toe nail polish to use for virtually any situation. If this unique gift does not interest you, then I can share my knowledge of american film, I am familiar with most power tools and am very good at fixing/making things. I am somewhat skilled at making leather bags, so theres that. We can stay up all night, with tiring and I can teach you proper Southern Sass. I can cook you the best mac'n'cheese known to man (but its spicy). I can talk all day about history or society, and I am not a debater nor an arguer. I am civil. I love yard/garden work, and I would be happy to help with virtually any home-projects.
