About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet as many new people as possible while making a lasting impression on each one of them

ABOUT ME

I live in Copenhagen and have always done and I really enjoy the city - though mostly in the spring and summer - when the nature turns green and the sun is shining the city transform radically. I live n a houseboat in the northern part of Copenhagen with my cousin. I have worked in the fashion industry(What a nice way to put it)/ clothing store for several years partly full-time while not attending school. I worked for 6 months as a firefighter at the Danish Island Bornholm and have been studying American Studies at Southern Denmark University. The last six months I've been pausing my studies while working at a kindergarten, traveling and planning more traveling.

I am a very outgoing person with the desire to meet entirely new people all the time. I love to discover new relations while enjoying the spontaneity it gives me. I recently joined couch surfing for the purpose of not only have the opportunity to travel more and cheaper but also to create relations the places I go! I am always up for a cop of the, a beer , a walk or a night out!

Interests

In my spare time I really enjoy nature and especially if I can find nature in a deep contrast to a big city - my favorite spots are always green oases inside urban areas! I love to go out for live events - music, dj's, festivals, readings or anything like it. I also use a lot of time bicycling, kayaking and anything that brings together with my friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies:
Trainspotting, Shutter Island, Pulp Fiction, The Deer Hunter, Inception, The Intouchables, Good Will Hunting, The Life of Amelié, Rust and Bone, Blue is the Warmest Colour, Dogville, The Wolf of Wallstreet, Django Unchained, The Notebook (Did I really write that ;) ), The Searching for Sugar Man, Fahrenheit 911, The Inside Job (I love documentaries if I have to kill time)

As you probably might have guessed - I like movies a lot, and have no particular taste in genres - though I am very selective in my choices of movies!

Music:
Bob Dylan, Jimmi Hendrix, Billie Holliday, Lana del Rey, Lukas Graham, John Mayer, Robin Thicke, Queen, Justin Timberlake, Pharell(N.E.R.D.), Sixto Rodriguez, Østkyst Hustlers, MØ, Bob Marley, Richie Spice, (My taste is very diverse in musci, though if I hear something I like, then I will never stop listening to it. I know most of the music I hear is a little "sensitive" and soft but when I go out I like to dance and I probably go ofter dancing than sitting in the bar - and for dancing I like everything from pop, reggae, indie and bassn'n'drums)

Books:
I love to read and especially American literature everything from novels to poetry.
Some of my favorite writers include:
TS Elliot, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Mark Twain, Allen Ginsburg, Emily Dickinson, Ernest Hemingway and my favorite Charles Bukowski.

Beside my craving for American Literature, I also like the french children's novel "The Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry or as it is called in french "Le Petit Prince".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once I drove a homeless guy a 1000 kilometers across America - just met him at a gas station where he had been stock for 4 day and he had 4 dollars, a phone, 5 cigarettes left and a pacemaker. he had the coolest music taste ever - though I did fear for my life for the first two minutes(Who knows what might happened in the "promised land") but it turned out as a super experience and he got a new place to "start over". The day before I parachuted that kicked ass too ;)

Countries I’ve Visited

Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Tunisia, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
