Overview
About Me
I'm a 30-years-old man living in Aarhus. I recently graduated from college, where I studied philosophy and cognitive semiotics.
I love learning, especially by meeting new people and expanding my horizon by exchanging views and experiences.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people, either by hosting foreigners, or by living with locals abroad. It is by far the best way to visit foreign cities, if you want to get a feel for the local spirit. I think you need to meet some local people to fully understand a society.
Interests
Philosophy, psychology, linguistics, music, you name it. In general, I have a great appetite for knowledge and culture.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Tool, Massive Attack, Rammstein, Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, Incubus, Interpol, Duke Ellington, Seeed, Rage against the machine, Fiona Apple.. and (mostly) anything inbetween.
Movies: So much good stuff.. should I choose one, I guess... Pulp Fiction.
Books: Um.. stuff like Murakami or Dostojevskij. Also a lot of nerdy non-fiction.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was silly enough to try and pick up a formerly unknown research method - corpus linguistics - when writing my thesis. Then I appied it on over 6000 Danish articles to examine the connotations for the Danish for 'immigrants'.
During most of the proces, I had no idea, what I was doing, but I pulled through somehow :)
Teach, Learn, Share
Not sure what this field is for. Maybe you could help me? :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
In all modesty, I think that I have a lot of interesting ideas to share.. anyway I love to discuss almost anything with anyone, who cares to talk. :)
I am very conscientious about not being a bother, both as a guest and a host. I think that it is important to agree on the level of social interaction that both parties are looking for at the moment.
