I am currently traveling along the Silk Road with a dear friend Tomas.

We started in Istanbull and have lived mostly in hostels on way to Iran. Unfurtunatly we have almost exclusively met foreigners at the hostels. The people are half the journey so we are very interested in meeting locals. Learning from their experiences and perspectives. And that's why we decided to join the couchsurfing community!!!

I would describe myself as a very easygoing guy. Being a sociable person I like meeting new people and making new friends.

Having lived in many countries from a young age has made me very open-minded and outgoing person. With many stories and experiences to share.

I am very intrested in meeting new people. Hearing their stories and observing their attitudes towards life.

I have no dietary restrictions/I eat everything.

I like photography 📷
I could talk for hours on end about history, I find it a very fascinating subject. In fact it is reading history that inspired me to go on this trip.

I also read philosophy: I am very inspired by the stoics. Senneca and Marcus Auralius being my favorites. But I find the topic as a whole very interesting.

I am also a great lover of cinema. Right now Takashi Mike and Nicolas Winding Refn movies are my favorites. But I love nearly all genres, and have wachted nearly all the works of the greatest cinematographers. My favorite documentery makers are Joshua Oppenheimer and Wegner Herzog.

I love the sea so when I can I go spearfishing. 🐟

Lastly am a foodie!!! I love finding new flavors and ways to composing them. I also think ones gastronomy says a lot about ones culture.
