I am from Wales, though I would not consider myself Welsh. A bit of a late bloomer, it's only in the last two years that the travel bug has hit me. But boy, did it hit hard.

I have numerous passions, some held for many years like film and some burgeoning in recent months (photography). Despite some of these interests being decidedly indoor affairs, I consider myself to be a huge fan of the outdoors. I can walk all day and adore exploring new cities and locations, preferably to find places off the beaten track. Photography has become a recent passion of mine as I realised I had no visual evidence of the places I've been and have been seeking to change that. :P

Hoping to find a pathway through life, and a place to call home eventually. :)

When I moved to Glasgow I was exposed to so many new cultures and experiences, and fast developed a love of the wider world outside of the UK. Now I want to see as much of it as I can, experience all of it! :D

I have an unhealthy love of the Banjo. Beautiful instrument, wish I could dedicate myself to learning. So a lot of bluegrass to start, but I also have a love of almost anything with a catchy beat (if you can cha-cha to it, I'll likely adore it) so plenty of funk, disco, soul etc. Really speaking all music is delightful in some way, I wouldn't want to narrow down my interests and deny myself all those pleasures. :)

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I recently attained a TEFL certificate and a big drive behind my travels is to teach my language to others. I have some work lined up but am hoping to do some travel for my own personal reasons between these jobs. I'm a firm believer that you cannot experience all of what a culture has to offer in a simple weekend, and I intend to invest a longer amount of time experiencing what various countries have to offer.
