I am a recent graduate with a BA in Social Work. During my time in undergrad, I focused my energy heavily on trying to understand immigration policy and its effects, and held a year long internship at a workers' center where I advocated for mostly Spanish-speaking men.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

During this internship, I realized the importance of gaining fluency in Spanish in order to communicate with and advocate for more people. So, for the next year, I will be traveling throughout Central and Southern Mexico in order to immerse myself in the language. I am willing to work for a place to stay. I have experience as a painter's apprentice and a construction assistant. I also have worked in marketing and web design. I am more than happy to carry out any manual labor tasks.
