I recently married my wife Jessie, and we are now both studying abroad in Glasgow, Scotland. We are both pretty laid back and agreeable; we won't be too much trouble for you. We have done quite a bit of travelling through the UK and Ireland in the past couple of months. We will be happy to trade travelling stories with our hosts!

Now that the semester is almost out, my wife and I want to do some travelling through Europe before we have to head back to America. We would love to find some cheap and safe places to stay (student budgets can be rather limiting, after all).

兴趣

We are both really interested in the history and culture of the places we visit, and so love museums and the like. We also love the beauties of the natural/geological world. Outside of travelling, we are both nerds who love Doctor Who, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Harry Potter, literature, etc.

In terms of music, we love almost everything, usually except for Rap music. I study music and guitar performance as a minor at university back home, too.

For movies, we love the Lord of the Rings trilogy, Star Wars, Les Miserables, Batman, Harry Potter, Inception, etc.

We are both studying literature at uni as well, so we love almost all books and poetry. My favorite book of all time is The Hobbit, but we like the Harry Potter series, Les Miserables, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, etc.

I've gotten married and gone on a six-month honeymoon in Europe, and the UK, including studying abroad in Scotland (which we are still experiencing). That's pretty amazing, I think. =)

My wife and I both love cooking together; we're not professionals by any means, but we enjoy spending time together preparing food. As such, if you host us, we would be more than happy to repay the favor by cooking you a meal! We can prepare something American for you (depending on whether we can find the correct ingredients in a local market), such as Colorado Burgers, Red Chili, or Gourmet Macaroni and Cheese. If you'd prefer something sweeter, we can try to make you Apple Pie, Chocolate Chip Cookies, or Peanut Butter Cookies. Again, if we can't find the right ingredients or if none of these appeal to you, I'm sure we can work something out to pay you back for your hospitality!

I can teach a few chords on the guitar, or just play a bit for you (if you have a guitar; I unfortunately didn't bring mine across the pond). We can also trade travelling stories! We both appreciate sharing in intelligent conversation as well, including philosophy and literature.
