I grew up in CT, went to college in New Paltz, NY, then lived in NH for two years before hitting the road. In recent years I've worked in elementary education, outdoor gear retail, at a climbing gym and as an outdoor climbing guide, among other things. I'm an avid climber and overall outdoor enthusiast. I love hiking, backpacking, and being in wilderness and alpine environments. I also enjoy exploring cities. I don't drink or smoke. I like live music and being out and about. I'm always psyched on exploring new areas!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to experience many places and unique pockets of culture. Every place holds a version of human life, and being immersed in various places brings human nature into better focus, and allows for a deeper appreciation of its diverse manifestations.
