I've just finished a year and a half of living and traveling in Europe (mostly France) where I got to know the restaurant industry and improved my French to a high conversational level. I am now slowly making my way back home to New Zealand via India. I plan to spend two months here, traveling from north to south.

I'm a pretty easy going guy, I love animals, I'm keen to try all kinds of different food and I'll sleep just about anywhere. I love learning languages but i haven't had much experience with anything that's not Latin based, so I'm up for a new challenge with learning a bit of Hindi or anything else that might help me through the next two months. I feel like its very important to be able to say a few things to people in a country I'm visiting, even if its just enough to be polite.

I tend to like doing things on the cheap, hitchhiking instead of taking a bus and hostels or guest houses instead of hotels. Usually the cheaper option is more interesting and gives more opportunity to meet new people.

Well lets not beat around the bush... it's free! No but in all seriousness, my time traveling in Europe has taught me by far the best way to experience a new place is to be with a local, somone who knows the city and knows the language better than I do. Couchsurfing seems like one of the best ways to do this, and It doesn't rely on any kind of travel package deal or some organization squeezing money out of you, solely the goodwill of travelers and locals!

Food, especially vegetarian food, although I'm not at all vegetarian.
Languages, I've been learning french for seven years now and I love it, I've started speaking some Spanish too which has been good fun.
Swimming, not as a sport though cause I'm not super fast. But coming from New Zealand I've had water all around me since I was young and just being in the ocean feels special for me. Weather it's snorkeling, diving, or just floating around in the sun.
I haven't been reading much recently but I want to get back into it. The recent loss of my phone has given me the opportunity to spend my time doing things other than constantly checking whats going on in the world.

I listen to a whole variety of music; reggae, dub, rap, hip hop, jazz, rnb, electronic, funk, rock, psychadellic rock, some alternative stuff and anything other people might suggest to me really.

Pulp fiction, Snatch, Narcos, Breaking Bad, Skins, Watchmen, The Usual Suspects, Avatar, The Wizard of Oz, No reservations, Man VS Wild and Chef's Table are just a handful of movies and TV shows I've recently watched and enjoyed.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Hitchhiked from France to Portugal and back again. Nearly seven days traveling time in total but it was infinitely more fun than taking a flight or bus.

I can teach you loads of English, nearly anything in French and a good amount of Spanish. Also a couple phrases in Portuguese and even some Japanese. I'm keen to teach you how to cook some of my favorite meals, and even more keen to learn how to cook some of yours! If you know even a tiny bit about meditation then you know more than me and I'd love to learn what you have to share.
