About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel, work, travel and see the world, understand the world, finish my education and change the ways of the human race. In that order.

ABOUT ME

Well Hi there, and thank you for taking the time to read this. I'm still pretty new to the entire Couchsurfing project, But I'm completely in love with the concept and I accept any friendly advice with gratitude.

Regarding me, I'm 18 years old and male. I just graduated and feel like it's time for me to spend a year away from the books, learning something about myself and the world around me.

You will find me at the Roskilde festival from the end of June till the 4th of July, and afterwards, I'll be interrailing around Europe for 3 weeks with my best friend and old roommate from the boarding school I attended - hoping to experience some of the European cultures but most importantly the people of Europe.

After all, the travelling I've already done has shown me that who I meet is important than where I go . And I believe that somehow sums up why I've joined the CS project :)

In my everyday life, I love to play my guitar - mostly rock classics and perhaps I'll one day have the skills to play jazz. Hopefully.

I enjoy getting to know strangers and often end up having long conversations with people I've just met. I also have a tendency to share what I have with whomever I spend time with and the feeling of contributing insufficiently - in one way or another - is perhaps the one that I fear the most.

You'll often find me drinking beer, discussing politics and mumbling something about keeping an open mind and that free spirits should be allowed to stay free. (doesn't always go along too well with the beer, so you might just find that I try to keep my mouth shut about anything controversial and just share a smile and a laugh with you instead). You might also find me discussing everything else (abovementioned rule applies here as well). I'm generally very friendly and open to pretty much any ideas you might have, as long as they don't result in me spending the night in a detention cell (which I haven't done yet, if I might add). Oh, and I like art and alternative ways of expression, but can't paint to save my own life... Trust me, I've tried! (and give me credit for trying to express myself through painting, even if I failed horribly)

When I go out, I usually prefer bars or more laid back places to the hardcore "meat market". I just don't go there.

Finally, I don't smoke. Simply because I don't want to.

If you need someone to show you around in Aarhus (2nd largest city in Denmark), don't hesitate to get in touch with me, I'd be more than happy to if I'm not traveling.

PHILOSOPHY

Whatever it is, I didn't do it!... Or perhaps something along the lines of "Always try to look behind the mask."
