Awesome indie theater in Tacoma which I frequent whenever home, The Grand Cinema.

Books are all over the map.

Music is varied though I want to see more live music and festivals this year.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sailing in a storm off New Zealand was incredibly humbling. The power of the ocean is jaw dropping. Watching a 40 foot wave crest overhead and toss a 500 foot ship like a toy is a wild experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I can teach any traveler a few knots and packing tricks that I use in my job at sea. Living 6+ months a year out of a duffel bag and backpack teaches you a few things and the skills are very useful on the road.
