About Me

I completely agree with the saying that "Variety is the spice of life"! I absolutely love trying new things - especially food XD. I've tried a little bit of everything, great breadth but not alot of depth.

I consider myself to be a pretty adventurous and spontaneous person, I am always down to go out and have fun or make a memory! I love to constantly learn and enjoy going to museums and reading books.

Family and friends are extremely important to me and I love spending my down time with them, although at the end of the day I am still an introvert.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to be deep. I am tired of travelling to new cities and staying in hotels and seeing these new places but never knowing them or the people who make them what they are. I want to get to know people from other lands and find out what their lives are like, their opinions, what they think is important. In this way CS is fun to meet new people with but it's also a way to make my travel more meaningful and less solely hedonistic.

I also want to give back to the community and host other travellers and show them why Seattle is such an amazing place!

Interests

I have an interest in so many random things. Alot of my focus is spent on topics related to Urban Planning but I also enjoy nature related recreation and search and rescue, arts such as music, sketching, dancing and language learning,

I'm also big into writing, designing maps, cosplaying, keeping up with "classical" topics such as history, politics, philosophy, mythology and religion.

Believe it or not I'm not a total nerd - I am also down to shop, eat, watch movies and play video and board games, read, karaoke, or play basketball.

But my #1 favorite thing to do is just explore, whether it be by car, bicycle, foot, ferry, train or plane!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a bit of a dilettante so I'm not sure if I can teach much 😂 but I am always willing to share my knowledge, experiences and skills if I can!

I can teach you about Urban Planning, share about Seattle, and help you with your languages.

I also love to learn from anyone who is willing to teach 😊

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am quiet and non intrusive, but am also always willing to conversate and hangout! I keep my spaces tidy, am respectful of rules and times, and help wherever I can!

Also - let's do anything you've ever wanted to try but have never gotten around to do it. Life is short, let's make the most of it!
