ABOUT ME

I think my friends all see me as someone with a very positive attitude, usually happy and friendly. I don't get stressed out easily, I'm pretty down-to-earth.I like sports: rowing, volleyball, swimming.. I LOVE to travel! So far I saw 25 countries and I can't wait to see all those places I haven't been yet! I love meeting new people as I travel, that's why I'm really enthousiastic about CS:-) It makes it more fun, easier & more affordable to travel!

PHILOSOPHY

Just by being positive and by being nice to the people around you, you'll get the most out of life. I try to live day by day, enjoying the small things. I like spontanious actions.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Upon now I've only surfed. I always lived in a very small apartment, that didn't even have a couch. So I wasn't able to host. Now I moved and I live together with my boyfriend. We have a guest room, so I want to start hosting!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed quite a lot in different countries and I just love to meet people this way. Other than surfing, I´ve used couchsurfing for other purposes too, like meeting people while I was living in Barcelona, when I was living in California, and to get answers to some questions.

Cooking, listening to music (all kinds exept for metal and rock..), traveling all over to get to know different cultures and people, learning languages (at the moment spanish), spending time with friends and family and my fabulous boyfriend:-)

Music: Any, totally depending on my mood :-)Movies: Comedies! Stupid humor:-P or very serious movies about WW2 or something. Oh and James Bond!Books: I don't read a lot of books, only on vacations. I wish I had more time to read. I like to read books about different cultures, about war time, history. I read a lot of psychology and science magazines.

* Inca Trail & Machu Picchu, Peru* Iguazu Falls, Argentina & Brazil* Bathing with elephants in Thailand* Hitch-hiking from Amsterdam to Vienna, Copenhagen, Munich, Prague, Antwerp and Gent.* (this was before I knew CS) While looking for a hostel in NYC, me and my sister met this guy and we ended up camping in his backyard in Long Island for a couple nights, it was an awesome and spontanious experience :-)* Jungle trek in Bolivia* Climbing the Misti Vulcano in Peru* Volunteering in a daycare in Ecuadoroh sorry, 'one' amazing thing..... I'll stop then.

I can teach Dutch, how to cook dutch dishes.. And other dishes. I know a few nice card games :-)I'm learning Spanish.
