À propos de moi

CURRENT MISSION

Conquer the world... one city at a time.

ABOUT ME

Hmm, here we go. Born and raised in Hong Kong. Spent 99% of my life here and got terribly bored. Working as a teacher at a local secondary school. Borderline underweight. Love to travel (of course). Bipolar. Sleep deprived. Well... you'll get to know me if you have the chance anyway, so make your own judgement.

PHILOSOPHY

What comes around goes around. That's what I learnt from My Name Is Earl.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Meet people. Spread the word. CS isn't that popular here so I guess the best help I can offer is to dive in for the fun.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

You've got a relative newbie here. Met some really nice people through CS. Had a not-so-nice CS experience though. Have hosted people before - some like-minded travellers I met on a trip.

Centres d'intérêt

Travel. Music. Movie. Daydreaming. Well basically everything interests me... Except drugs. Don't do drugs, kids.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

An overland trip from London to Mongolia.

A two-day trekking I did in Laos. Spent a night in a remote village. Played with lovely kids, communicated entirely with body language.

Talked with random strangers on the streets of Iran. Was offered tea and snacks here and there. Got invited to a small picnic in the middle of a plaza. Great hospitality. Great people.

Crystal clear water in the Red Sea. Amazing sunrise from Mt Sinai.

Trekked on an unrestored part of the Great Wall.

Got horribly sunburnt in Halong Bay, Vietnam.

Took groups of young people and children on study tours. Getting them to behave themselves in the middle of London was no easy feat.

The extended time I spent in New Zealand. An excellent country.

(Oh, "Amazing Thing" - singular. Whatever.)

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I guess I can teach Cantonese or Putonghua. I can tell you a thing or two about Hong Kong, of course.

Well... I suppose I can teach English too. That's my day job after all...
