About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To find a sustainable way to create (I don't need to be a super accomplished artist), and to find a strong community in which folks challenge, support, and respect one another.

ABOUT ME

Im a caring, open, understanding, attentive and curious individual. I love to listen and ask questions, I love cheesy puns, I want a dog, I'm lactose intolerant, I'm a kinesthetic learner and love exploring, especially by hopping on my bike and riding.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't know that I live by one easy to explain philosophy. I have a family that loves and supports me, I have incredible friends and a passion that I'm pursuing. Lately I've been trying to live my life by being less selfish and opening up more.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because, for those people that appreciate what this community can be, it's amazing. It's about sharing, giving back (more so when I was able to host), learning, and experiencing life. So I'm thankful for those folks I've met through here and looking forward to interactions to come.

On one of my last open ended motorcycle trips I was greeted by the most amazing folks , starting that first night when I landed in Richmond and was hosted by Lulu, talking about training squirrels. And then getting to knoxville and hanging with generous folks and their Vertigo inflicted pup, and camping out in Nashville at the Doll House with a case of PBR watching the possums hanging about, riding around Savannah Georgia... Just that I can set out on a journey and come across such wonderful people... Though couchsurfing's changed over the years, at its base it's still the same, because the people on here really make it the wonderful platform that it is.

Interests

Soccer, music, movies, any kind of gazing at nature, hiking, I'd like to learn to surf, riding around, life... everything. I'm a curious young man, not hard to capture my interest if I see your enthusiasm.

Music, Movies, and Books

Christopher Moore & Thomas Pynchon

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I haphazardly ended up rooming with someone in a hostel who was going where I was! Driving from St. Moritz to the region of Ticino in Switzerland... pleasantly driving down into winding valleys... surrounded by green mountains on either side... fresh air... stopping off to seem some hidden gems, such as Soglio, along the way.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach a bit of a foreign language, how to make an origami crane, how to juggle, where to go to get some cheap falafel / shwarma, and well... I can share all the other pleasant little talents / sweet nothings that sit around or run through my head.

I'd love to learn to surf! And I'd ideally like to learn a bit of every language out there. Dialects included.
