ABOUT ME

I'm Jacob, and I am pleased to meet you.
I live in Québec, which is the capital of the french-speaking province of Canada. I like my city because it's a beautiful old city, not so big so I get lost and don't know anyone on the street, but big enough so I don't get bored.
I'm a pretty simple guy, I like to have a good time, in any way possible. I really enjoy travelling and meeting new people, seeing new things, learning new stuff.

My ultimate dream is to fly a wingsuit.

PHILOSOPHY

I have a strict no-stress policy. I think everyone should just enjoy themselves whenever possible, because there really is nothing better.
I don't believe in working all your life so you can buy things and make society work.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since I still live in a small house with my family, I can't host surfers, but I would sure like to! Otherwise, I am open to go out for multiple beers or sightseeing around Quebec !

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed in San Francisco and I had an amazing time!
Also, one of my friends used to host a lot in Quebec so I often went to hang out with her and her surfers.

兴趣

I love listening to music, traveling, hanging out with my friends, outdoor sports, watching movies and tv series. I absolutely love biking.
I play trombone in a ska band, so I enjoy playing music and jamming with friends.
I'm not a complicated guy and I like to have fun, so I enjoy going out until 5 a.m and getting wasted as much as I like hanging out and talking, cooking, playing games.
I am always interested in seeing new things and trying out new activities !

音乐、电影和书籍

I absolutely love movies, from comedies to dark/gory movies. I am always listening to music of various genre, depending on my mood... Some of my favourite bands are Streetlight Manifesto, Listener, Alt-J, Týr and Vintersorg. I'm not a big reader, but I love a good thriller. Some of my favorite books are Fight Club, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time, and all 7 of the Sin City graphic novels.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Driving 13500 km across North America with 3 of my best friends was an incredible experience. We have seen so many breathtaking things, especially in the Southwestern states of the USA. New Mexico was my favourite.
Waving my feet in the Grand Canyon was alright.
I pet a wild koala the other day, it's always fun to say.

It would be my pleasure to give you some basic french lessons, from swearing to grammar.
I would absolutely love to learn how to surf, it is one of my goals for my trip in Australia.
We can share laughs, travel stories, meals (I can do basic cooking)... Basicaly anything you want !
