I see myself as a flaneur who loves to explore, observe and wonder. And also a bit as a renaissance person who wants to cultivate many different areas of interest. That always makes these "about me" sections a bit difficult :-)

But I can say I particularly like writing, reading, music, learning, and walking, especially in big cities like Shanghai where I used to live. I'm a writer and I used to be a music artist but now I'm trying not to be that. We'll see how it goes.

To meet people.
I don't usually couchsurf because I'm quite introverted and I prefer to have my own place. But I love to meet locals when traveling and I'm also happy to hang out with visitors to my city. Travelers and internationally oriented people often have a mindset which resonates very well with my own. It's all about curiosity and exploration.
