About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel around, meet some new people, maybe earn a degree

ABOUT ME

I'm a big fan of meeting interesting new people. I'm a big fan of travel (anywhere, really), too. Mix the two and I'm a happy camper! I like crazy, spontaneous adventures and just chilling at home. I'm up for just about anything!

PHILOSOPHY

One way or another, stuff fades away; relationships are the only truly valuable things we have.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Dorky comedies
Music: The Decemberists, The Shins, Maritime, Architecture In Helsinki, Sea Wolf, R.E.M., etc.
Books: working through some nonfiction right now, but I'm a fan of the classics and a bit of science fiction

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I built a really fantastic raft with some buddies out of scrap wood and barrels we found in dumpsters, pushed it off into a nearby lake, and we lived on it for three days.

Teach, Learn, Share

You can use distilled white vinegar to get the smell of garlic off your hands. It's pretty handy if you're cooking and don't want to smell like you're hunting vampires the rest of the day.
