ABOUT ME

Leon & Iliana: We are a very young couple, we've been together from the beginning of time (actually 6 years) and we're friendly and fun.

Leon: I am cool easygoing guy, up to anything. I'm always trying to help people.
I love meeting people from all around the world.
I also love listening funny and interesting experiences that people had.
I love technology but I'm not a geek, hehehe!

Iliana:I like to meet new people and have friends everywhere. I'm a very responsible and organized person. I love cooking and exploring the culture, gastronomy and the people of every place I have the opportunity to go to.

We grew up in Maracaibo, Venezuela and use to travel anywhere we could inside our country during vacations.

PHILOSOPHY

Do whatever you like, do it in the way, that it feels good for you and don't harm others by that!
Try always to help somebody else and it will come back to you in a good way some day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We recently join the community by going to a Paris bar for a CS meeting and so we try to know more people to exchange cultural experiences. After that, we realized that we wanted to be part of the community and now we can not stop going to their encounters.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We haven't couch surfed yet. Hopefully we will be doing it soon, because we have heard many positive comments and experiences from many people that have surfed.

Interests

Leon: My favorites are Baseball, Football, and Tennis, but I'm pretty diverse, and like most outdoor sports and activities.

Iliana: I like photography, to speak and learn languages as much as possible, to make people happy if it's up to me, walking, skating, biking, swimming, to make a new friend every day.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Shawshank Redemption, Little Miss Sunshine (I know, it’s a girly movie, but it’s cute!), Closer, Men on Fire, American Beauty, Lust Caution, Forest Gump, Star Wars (all of them).

Music: almost anything, but mostly salsa, latin music and jazz.

Books: I'm recently into Kathy Reich Thrillers like Déjà Dead. but I also like Paolo Coelho, García Marques, Agatha Christie, among others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The sunset from the top of a mountain in Venezuela located 400 mts form the Caribbean Sea and 600 mts form the Atlantic Ocean.
No words to describe it! just Amazing!
