Who am I? I dunno what to say, so, it's been a pleasure..
No, seriously.. let's start from the beginning.

My name's Jacopo, I'm 25, living in Empoli, just 30 km away from Florence, of course Italy.
I hope you, who are reading this, will know me in person, so just make a summary in here; I promise i will talk a lot 'bout myself face to face with you.

1- I'm working as a sales assistant in a supermarket while waiting to become CEO; only need few time more.

2- I'm studying Marketing at University of Pisa while not waiting to become the new Philip Kotler.

3- I've spent too much time living a life that doesn't belong to me, I "haven't did it my way" (Frank forgive me).
Ps: don't worry, I'm not that depressed kind of guy.. It was just for let me do the Sinatra's joke.

4- I've got a cat and a dog (in this order 'cause i will always prefer cats), two parents too. A lot of cousins as a good italian, few real friends, too much free time that always turns into too few.

5- I'm not a sporty, I do love to sleep. I'm not a healthy, I do love to eat. I'm not a funny, I do am a funny as hell.

6- I've lost my chance to make a good presentation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined CS for the first time in 2013 but I never used it 'till now.
After some things happened in my life during the last year I decided to travel more and I realized that I was losing too much things booking an Airbnb or stuff like that.
This CS community is a real wonderful place, full of people from all around the world, all ready to share their life experiences and ready to get to know yours.
I remember that a friend of mine once told me that he was up to go to make a "journey", not a "vacation" and at that time I didn't deeply and fully understand the big difference within this two words, often used as synonyms. Well, it can seems stupid, but this is the reason, this is why I am on CS..
I don't wanna go on vacation anymore, I want to make journeys.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't like too much to make rankings on things that i like, or better say, I'm non good at it but I can try.

Music: I never listened too much music (I'm a horrible person, I know) but with some efforts I can say that my favourite artists are (randomly): Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, Prince, Nick Cave, Neil Young, Frank Sinatra, Eminem and some unknown italian rappers.

Films: I love cinema, I love all the movies (except Marvel's..well not true, it's that I haven't seen them). And since the last three years I'm a Netflix doped.

Books: All italian literature, from 1200 'till 1960; cannot make a list of it but particularly in love with Pirandello. Some other random author like Samuel Beckett, Ernest Hemingway, Franz Kafka. Also interested in comic, recently in love with Gipi and Zerocalcare.

I've turn 25 without ever seeing "The Lion King".. and yes, I'm still alive.
