Overview
About Me
hello couchsurfers! my name is Jacopo and i'm a student of engineering at the polythecnic of Torino, my homecity and birthplace. I've always lived here, but my true love has always been for travelling. After having spent six months as an international student in New Zealand at the age of sixteen, i started travelling as many times as i could. so far, my adventures have taken me to the US, Scotland, Germany, France, Israel, Vietnam, Japan, Singapore, and back to New Zealand again. My passion is writing books and travel diary, and i'm always looking for new inspiration and new people to meet
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Hello couchsurfing community! I'm new on this experience but very willing to host in my hometown every traveller who stops by :) Travelling and meeting new people is my way to grow up and discover the world. in this year i will spend studying at my university, i will grasp every free moment to join a new adventure. My passion is writing books, and i see every travel and every new meeting as the most inspiring part of my journey, i'm really looking forward to start my couchsurfing experience
Interests
as i said my passion is writing, but i'm also really keen on every kind of sport: i love surfing, which i learnt it while my staying in New Zealand, i've been skiing on the alps sice i was a kid, and i just love going cycling on the hills of Torino every weekend with my Cinelli bike

Music, Movies, and Books
i have lots of music genres which i love: italian, french and american songwriters are likely to be my best, such as Fabrizio de Andrè, Georges Brassens, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash. I really like Martin Scorsese's movies and Tarantino's, as well as Wes Anderson's. In general, i really watching movies and tv series such as Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad and House of Cards.
My favourite books are Bruce Chatwin's ones, an English writer and traveller and most of all an extraordinary storyteller
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
the most extreme thing i've done is a 137mt tall bungy jumping in the Southern Alps in New Zealand, an experience i'm still scared when i think about it!
Teach, Learn, Share
i'm very willing to teach italian to everybody, and learning new languages from everywhere i go. i'm willing to share stories and adventures as well as poems to everybody who is intersted in literature.
What I Can Share with Hosts
