ABOUT ME

I am 22 and live in Chicago, IL. I am currently in med school and the only thing that is keeping me going is planning my next trip! I am super easy going and pretty down to earth and hope to do a lot of traveling while I am still in school and throughout my career. I never want to lose perspective on what is most important in life: Family and friends.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Would love to find some couches to stay on this summer and other times I travel! Also, I happen to live in what I think is the best city in the US (Chicago!) I would love to meet up with other surfers and show my favorite spots around Chi-Town. I also have a pass to the Chicago aquarium until April, and can bring a guest if anyone is interested :)

Interessi

I love to read books of any genre, but especially the works of Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Toni Morrison, Paul Farmer, and Isabel Allende. I am a big sports fan, and enjoy baseball (Cubs!) in the summers and basketball (Celtics!) in the winters. I LOVE eating food! My favorite thing to do is have a long meal with a good glass of wine and with friends/husband. Most of all, I love spending time with my amazing husband and two pitbull pups :)

1. first kiss with my husband-fell in love instantly
2. Reading the Language of God-this is when I realized I wanted to become a doctor
3. Reading Mountains Beyond Mountains-this is when I knew I wanted to work in global health
